University of Science and Technology is one of the top technological research universities in the United States, with over 7,000 students currently enrolled. A majority of them spend their spare time involved with intramural sports on campus, with over 20 to choose from.
The Bullman Multi-Purpose Center, originally built in 1969, is the main athletic facility for students, faculty and staff. The center offers the University state of the art equipment; composed of two large gymnasiums, athletic training rooms, aerobic machines, a swimming pool and a variety of fitness classes.
The expansion, which opened in 1995, includes a three court gymnasium, elevated jogging track, and multipurpose dance/aerobics/yoga studios in addition to lockers and support space. A new circulation spine helps to clarify circulation within the expanded building.
